Portland Oregon POS Point of Sale Software

Retail point of sale software is a "must have" item for anyone in a retail business today.

Navigating the jungle of different POS system options is something I have done extensively, and I run my own business with Positive POS software.

Unfortunately, I am lo longer actively engaging in the sales, service or support of and POS software or hardware, but put together this list of useful information -

  1. For a really great resource, I recommend the Point of Sale POS Software comparison. It's not completely free, but if you find something more valuable to your decision making process, then please tell me about it.

  2. Get a POS Quote from vendors in your area.

This short, but detailed questionnaire will help narrow down your needs, for general retail, specialty retail, or for bars and restaurants.

  3. If you're simply trying to find a good deal on basic POS hardware, and you want good prices, fast delivery, and reasonable shipping charges, check this site for over 20,000 POS products

  4. If you're a small retailer with a single location, then I strongly recommend Positive Retailer software, and I have used it for my own business since 1997. While they're not from Oregon, they are from Richland Washington, just a few hours drive from here.
