After moving to Portland in 1991 as a manager with GI Joes,
Scott Hendison entered the computer business with
Office Depot in 1995.
In 1997, he started Cyber Exchange in Portland, Oregon, a
computer store that specialized in the trading of new & used software and hardware,
and in 1999, began selling used software on the internet.
Over 5 years, the store moved and changed
names, ultimately closing the doors of MPH Computing in 2002, and beginning Portland
Technology Consultants.
Using the search engines, PDXTC established a
thriving on-site repair business, and grew as a local web hosting and
development company.
In 2004, Scott brought on several self employed
technicians to service Portland and the surrounding areas as affiliates,
and began focusing exclusively on search, forming Search Commander, Inc.
Today, PDXTC serves as the web hosting and technical
services division of Search Commander, Inc. hosting over 900 domains in
our shared Gresham Oregon data center.
Scott currently lives in Portland Oregon, with
his
wife Tara, and sons Mikkel
and Matthew.
