{"id":590,"date":"2008-01-25T08:05:27","date_gmt":"2008-01-25T15:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/microsoft\/ms-office\/modify-save-attachment-dialog-box\/"},"modified":"2014-12-04T13:37:26","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T20:37:26","slug":"modify-save-attachment-dialog-box","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/computers-how-to\/modify-save-attachment-dialog-box\/","title":{"rendered":"Modify Save Attachment Dialog Box"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In previous versions of MS Office, it was possible to modify your &#8220;save attachment as&#8221; dialog box with folders that you prefer, but in Office 2007, that option appeared to be gone thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.projectwoman.com\/2007\/07\/my-places-in-office-2007.html\" target=\"_blank\">this blog post<\/a>  I now know how to do it in the current version of Office.<\/p>\n<p>All you have to do is browse to the folder you wish to add, then right-click in the blank area below your icons on the left, when &#8220;Add [Folder Name] will appear, and you can choose that option instantly adding it to your dialog box.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/save-as-office.jpg\" alt=\"save-as-office.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since formatting my computer and reinstalling Office 2007, I&#8217;ve not been able to figure out this option, and been frustrated.
