{"id":448,"date":"2007-10-23T14:39:40","date_gmt":"2007-10-23T21:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/archives\/448"},"modified":"2014-12-04T13:37:44","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T20:37:44","slug":"another-google-webmaster-tools-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/seo\/another-google-webmaster-tools-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Google Webmaster Tools Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not sure when they added this but I just happened to notice there are new columns inside Google&#8217;s Webmaster tools.<\/p>\n<p>If you go to statistics &#8211; top search queries, you&#8217;ll see that you can now see an overall percentage number for what percentage of your search terms that your site appears for,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/google-wmt-top-search-terms.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and for how much traffic each search term drove to your site from Google &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/google-wmt-top-clicked-queries.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s even a scale along the top now that shows you a history dating back six months &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pdxtc.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/google-wmt-timeline.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">*ahh &#8211; that&#8217;s not working &#8211; perhaps the feature needs to exist for 6 months first?<\/p>\n<p>Is there is some competition going on between the team at Analytics, and the team at Webmaster tools?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m finding more and more useful items inside Webmaster tools every time I poke around&#8230; How long can it be before these two departments are joined together, or at least made accessible from each other&#8217;s admin areas?<\/p>\n<p>That would create a huge timesaver &#8211; Maybe one could just report selected statistics to the other one?<\/p>\n<p>Thanks again, Google.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not sure when they added this but I just happened to notice there are new columns inside Google&#8217;s Webmaster tools.
