As a computer consultant, I thought my tag line “Taking IT Personally” was pretty clever. Well it was, and apparently it’s now registered as a trademark by someone else. Although I’ve used it for nearly 4 years, they registered it now, and own it. They phoned me, and politely asked me to remove it, which I intend to comply with.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, besides being on my website, it’s on my business cards, my van, my brochures etc. and those things may be slow to change. They’re sending me a registered letter asking me to cease and desist, and that’s fine, but I still need another line.<\/p>\n
Since my business has gone in the direction of search engines, and I’m not more of an Internet consultant, I’m trying to come up with a short phrase that’s catchy, clever, and sends a message.<\/p>\n
So far however, the best I can do is “Location is everything” or ” It’s all about location” and neither of those is very original or very good.<\/p>\n
