AMD,coordinating with Equus Computers will send a Field Application Engineer to discuss their line of Server, Desktop and Mobile CPUs. Topics will include:<\/p>\n

– The advantages of 64 bit CPUS. Is there any advantage with 32 bit operating systems?<\/p>\n

– Dual core\/Dual processor technology<\/p>\n

– Heat issues.<\/p>\n

– Turion Laptop \/ mobile technology and how it compares with Centrino (heat, speed, battery life, wireless stability).<\/p>\n

– Hyperthreading or hypertransport? Are they really hyper or just hype?<\/p>\n

– How is memory accessed and how is speed optimized?<\/p>\n

– Virus protection in the CPU? How does that work?<\/p>\n

– Why choose AMD (in terms of benefits to the clients, not features)?<\/p>\n

– When is the added cost of the more expensive processor type worth it?<\/p>\n
