Search sngine optimization is the subject of a Newsweek article coming out tomorrow. If you’re interested, you can read it here now. The story features the SEO skills of Seattle based Rand Fishkin, whom I’ve never met, but I’ve heard a lot about, and I read his blog on a regular basis. The article does a good job of explaining what SEO means, the differences between “White hat SEO” and “Black Hat” SEO, and generally recommending that any website hoping to succeed hire someone to get their website found in the search engines. If you’re interested, Google engineer Matt Cutts blogged about it , and there are some great comments there too regarding a couple of innaccuracies in the story. Whether you need search engine optimization in Portland Oregon or Portland Maine, there’s an SEO near you that can do the same thing for your business that Rand did for the shoe store in New York. If you can’t find a good one, I’ll be happy to give you a quote! |
