AMD,coordinating with Equus Computers will send a Field Application Engineer to discuss their line of Server, Desktop and Mobile CPUs. Topics will include:

- The advantages of 64 bit CPUS. Is there any advantage with 32 bit operating systems?

- Dual core/Dual processor technology

- Heat issues.

- Turion Laptop / mobile technology and how it compares with Centrino (heat, speed, battery life, wireless stability).

- Hyperthreading or hypertransport? Are they really hyper or just hype?

- How is memory accessed and how is speed optimized?

- Virus protection in the CPU? How does that work?

- Why choose AMD (in terms of benefits to the clients, not features)?

- When is the added cost of the more expensive processor type worth it?
