I was with Jerry West at Webmaster World in Las Vegas when I first heard about faked Page Rank. It turns out that it was a relatively OLD scam, but one that had somehow escaped my knowledge! (See, I’ve told you repeatedly that I still learn new things every week!)
At break, we went out in the lobby, and Jerry fired up his laptop. With the help opf another associate he had there, he attempted to “fake” the Google Page Rank score on a webpage.

His goal was of course only to be able to identify it, to protect yourself, and he promised a detailed article on the subject would be coming soon.

Jumping ahead nearly four months, he’s now completed the article, and even put in a demonstration video. Nice work, Jerry, and thank you!
