19th June 2007

Last year I attended the Internet strategy forum in downtown Portland, and came away with mixed feelings as to whether or not it was worth my time.

There was little talk about search from other then have few speakers, and instead focus on many of the broader aspects of Internet as opposed to simply Internet marketing.

This year, the conference promises to be more up my alley, and their list of speakers is quite impressive. This morning I got an e-mail announcing that Robert Scoble has been added to the list of speakers, and that pretty much clinched it for me, so I’ll be attending.

Don’t forget, if you are a member of Portland’s premier Internet marketing group, SEMpdx, you can attend the event at a discount.  Attending just a couple of events like this each year offsets the entire cost of SEMpdx membership.

It’s an all day event on Thursday, July 19, 2007, at the Governor’s Hotel in downtown Portland. Visit their website for a full list of speakers and presentations.

Some of the links on this website and possibly even in this article may be affiliate links. That does not in any way discount my recommendation, and I do not accept paid reviews. It's simply impossible and unreasonable to mention each possible affiliation individually, so please try to get over it ;-)
