Righ it’s not very affordable for everyone but reading your post I’m sure it was very informative & interesting.

It becomes affordable when you spend only 10% of your “wage”.
But I’m not the kind of person earning $50,000 per month.

It was 5k - not cheap, but compare that with 1800 for an SES show with 2000 others, and it’s a bargain…

Like I said, if you want another really good conference to go to, come to Seattle in June for SMX advanced.

Sleep? Yep, after I left all of you guys in the hotel lobby, I must have slept for at least 2 1/2 hours before catching the cab to the airport -

(PS - Sunday I had to take my family to eat Dim Sum here in pdx, because I was so bummed about missing the Saturday breakfast. It was good, but probably not as good as yours…)

Scott, I was so excited to see you there. I am sorry to hear about the computer cord. You totally could have sent me out to find you another one. I agree about the food. I gorged myself at every one of the meals. It was the best food I have ever seen at a hotel. I bet we will run into each other again this week somewhere!

By the way, did you get “any” sleep on Friday night?

It sounds like you’re having a great time. And I think you’re right that making those relationships is the key value in Elite Retreat. Just having a single dinner with that group of people would be awesome!

I’m typically not a breakfast eater either — but that sounds amazing! I doubt anyone could turn down a meal like that! : D

My professor always stresses the importance of networking and getting yourself out there. As a young college student, I am slowly starting to see that it really does matter who you know.
